To show support and thank you for consumers who converted to wind power, NStar sent these consumer who switched a biodegradable yard flag that said “Gone Green”. The consumer could proudly post this flag on their lawns to show they switched to Wind Energy. The recycled and biodegradable flag was sent in a biodegradable tube with a letter written on 100% post-consumer recycled paper.
Nstar hired a “traditional advertising” agency to generate the message and generate a distribution list. This agency contracted STRAN to provide the flags, the packaging, and distribution directly to consumers.
•Created 10,000 recycled and biodegradable flags.
•Packed each flag with a 100% post-consumer recycled letter in a biodegradable mailing tube.
